Duomo is an Italian word for house, but is also used to refer to cathedrals. An Italian friend explained to me that this is because the cathedral in a city is the home of the people’s hearts.

Appalachia is the home of my heart, made for us by our Father and deeply beloved. Appalachia is suffering today because of Hurricane Helene.
