“Morning Glimmer,” a Square 4”x4” Acrylic Mini Painting in a 6”x8” Frame

No one else has woken up when I open the front door and take the first sharp breath of morning air. I start on my regular route, my feet pounding a familiar rhythm across the frozen ground. The sky has lightened, but the sun has not quite broken over rim of the distant hills. Clouds are tinged pink and gold, and a brightness on the horizon heralds the sun.

Morning Glimmer is a mini painting approximately 4”x4” on hand torn oil painting paper, framed in a 6”x8” gray barn wood float frame. This frame utilizes a hidden sawtooth hanger and presses the painting between two pieces of clear glass, preserving the integrity of the paper’s living edges and creating a clean, contemporary look.
